Over the holiday, my mom and I were at TJ's, shopping for ourselves and getting a parcel of treats for my mom's PIC in Arizona. We wanted to get ourselves chocolate caramels with sea salt, but the store ran out of them. No surpise there, really. We asked the manager type guy if they had any in the back and he said no. However, to save the day, he brought us to the Promise Land...a container of dark chocolate caramels and made the obvious suggestion of salting them ourselves. DUH!!!
Yesterday, I ran the last of my errands for the week at Trader Joe's and decided to get myself a wee treat. In my kitchen sits a wee container of dark chocolate caramels just waiting to be sea salted to taste. Ah, it's the small things!!
